I did one of the 90 day challenges back in 2010 when Scott first started this program. Before starting the 90 day challenge, I was struggling with making time to work out and eating right because I was working full-time and a single mom, so I found many excuses to let my health go. And honestly, I did not like working out at the gym because I didn’t like to lift weights and didn’t know how to use the machines or what to do at the gym. So when I found out Scott was starting this challenge, I decided to join and check it out. During that 90 days, not only did I have great results with my weight loss and with strengthening my body, we also had a lot of fun with the process. The trainers really know how to make working out fun.
Two years later, I am back training with Scott, but this time when I contacted him, it was because I was completely stressed out about life; I knew I needed his expertise and motivation to get my life back on track. This time I was seeking a healthier body and clarity in my mindset as opposed to just losing weight. I love many things about the SY Performance model, but I find that Scott uses a lot of mindset techniques where his training goes far beyond eating right and working out. He really focuses on how you think about your self image, about life, about food, about all your strengths and weaknesses, about what you want in your life, how you want to live your life. SY Performance really does focus on your overall well being and not just your body.
